Economics Degree

Auburn Montgomery's degree in Economics provides students with a solid foundation in economic analysis and prepares students for careers in business, financial institutions and the public sector. In addition, the curriculum prepares students for graduate or professional schools in business, law, economics, international studies and other related fields of study. After students finish taking the required Core Curriculum, the student in the business economics program is offered two options of study with related but unique cur­ricula: business economics and international business studies option.

International Business Studies Option

This program consists of courses offered by the Economics Department, other de­partments in the College of Business and the International Studies Department. The Southern Business and Economic Journal (SBEJ) was first published in 1978 and is currently distributed to 800 individuals and libraries across the country and in many parts of the world.
